Eligibility
Criteria
Candidates need to have check this Info-
- Children between age 10-14 years who are studying either in recognized schools or belonging to families practicing traditional, performing and other arts are selected for the scholarships
- Children in the age group of 10-14 years-(whose date of birth is in between July 1, 2003, and June 30, 2007 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply for award of CCRT Scholarship for the year 2018-19.
- In exceptional cases, the lower age limit can be relaxed up to two years.
- Children about to apply should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience (either with a Guru or in an institution) and certain level of proficiency in the relevant art form.
Duration of
Scholarship:
- Candidates are suggested to apply for CCRT Scholarship after two years of issuing the first scholarship.
- The CCRT dance scholarship is valid for two years. Only after completion of two years candidate can apply for the CCRT Scholarship Scheme.
- The candidate who is currently getting the benefits of the centre for cultural resources and training scholarship are not eligible to apply.
Amount of CCRT
Scholarship: All payment of scholarship shall be made in bank account
of authorized parents/ guardian of scholarship holders by NEFT/ ECS/ RTGS
directly who shall be responsible to pay the approved tuition fee to the
guru/teacher and send the duly stamped payment receipts.
- The student will receive Rs.3, 600/- rupees per year as a CCRT Scholarship Amount.
- The amount of 9000 rupees (the actual Fees) will be paid to the institute or the registered GURU.
- All the transactions will be done with the bank account of authorized scholarship holder’s parent/guardian.
Selection
Procedure:
- Centre for cultural resources and training scholarship will first shortlist the candidates on the basis of screening of CCRT Application Form.
- Shortlisted aspirants will be called for personal interview on schedule date.
- Interviews/Tests which may be conducted at Regional level on schedule dates
- Selected aspirants will be informed about the dates, timings and venue of the Interviews/Tests by post.
